Best of Georgia Beer 2018 – Nominations
Nominate your favorite beers and breweries for the Best of Georgia Beer 2018
Craft beer in Georgia continued to boom in 2018. Although overall openings are down from 2017, there are currently 83(ish) breweries and brewpubs across the state. Smaller towns in Georgia are getting into the game more with openings in locations like Dalton, LaGrange, and Peachtree City. Nearly 30 additional breweries are in the works with some very close to opening, it’s likely we’ll top 100 breweries and brewpubs as we roll through 2019.
Styles were selected for the categories to represent the most popular craft beer styles. There are a lot of great beers that don’t fall into these categories, we have an additional category for those. We feel this method highlights the best of the most popular beers, and keeps the survey at a manageable size.
New categories for 2018
By popular demand, we’ve added Best New/Overall Lager categories for this year’s awards. There’s a huge variety in lagers available but at this time a single category should suffice to capture what’s being brewed in Georgia. We’ve also added a Best Homebrewer category to highlight some of the amazingly talented brewers that haven’t yet taken the plunge to pro. visitez le pilemeds.com internet à venir.
BREWERS! We encourage you to offer up your own nominations and share this with your fans and followers.
