The final round will remain open until Christmas Day and results will be broadcast on the Beer Guys Radio Show the weekend of Saturday 12/29. Listen to the show in Newnan on 99Rock The Key 99.1 FM Saturday at 10:00 AM or in Brunswick/St. Simon’s Island on WBQO 93.7 FM Sunday at 1:00 PM.

Why wasn’t (insert your favorite beer/brewery here) included???
We’ve been asked this several times the last two years. We get it, people are passionate about their favorites. If yours is not on the list, it did not receive enough nominations or did not meet the criteria for the category it was nominated in. Final voting entries come 100% from nominations. One issue we saw this year with the growth of small batch variants was a spread across all variants in popularity, or no variant being listed for a beer that only comes in various… variants. There were some very popular beers eliminated because of this. We tried to include the Top 10 in each category, give or take. In one category we had a 13-way tie for the 6th spot, so the top 5 nominees were included.

Rules and important dates
- You may vote only once. You will be required to log in to a Google account to vote. We do everything we can to minimize vote manipulation and if it’s obvious that it’s happening we’ll toss that sucker out.
- Variants and “Volumes”: If nominating beer that has several variants or volumes please indicate the specific release you are nominating.
- Eligibility dates: For any category specific to a 2018 release or opening date the eligibility dates are December 15, 2017 through December 1, 2018.
- Nomination round: December 3-11, 2018
- Final voting round: December 12-25, 2018
- Winners announced: On the Beer Guys Radio show on December 29, 2018.
- Contract beers brewed outside of Georgia are not eligible.

Why was Scofflaw not in the overall best for brewery or IPA’s? Also, Savannah River Brewing nor Riverwatch brewing are listed
Hey Lester, we actually get asked this a lot and addressed it a bit more depth in the post above. The final round is based 100% on nominations. If a particular beer or brewery isn’t on the list it’s because it didn’t receive enough nominations. or it didn’t qualify for the category it was nominated in.
