Glenn Golden escaped from the Jail House and joined the Beer Guys in Studio this week.

(see what we did there?)

Jail House Brewing was in the studios this week. We spoke to the owner of the Hampton brewery as well as Nick Bonetti, one of their sales reps.

Truck and Tap‘s beers of the week? Jail House’s Conjugal Visit Red IPA, which will hit store shelves soon. Also, they brought a growler of their ale made with grits, similar to a cream ale.

Along with the Jail House team, we went across the pond and talked to Niall Walsh, Managing Director and Brewer Wil Avery from Ireland’s Galway Bay. You may recognize Wil as the former head brewer at Kennesaw’s Burnt Hickory Brewery. Galway Bay is one of Ireland’s largest and most heralded craft brewers. We’ll talk to them about the expansion of the craft beer movement in the land of Guinness, and how American beer styles are catching on over there.

In the news, we talk to Glenn about the next installment of the infamous Budweiser Super Bowl ads.

Also, some disappointing news out of Augusta, and Eventide debuting its beers in cans. And we have a Hopslam take that you may not like.

Next week? We’re talking homebrewing with Covert Hops and some more special guests.
