Coming Up from Beer Guys Radio

This week we’ll chat with Finback Brewery and Idyll Hounds from Day of the Juice beer festival!  We had an awesome time at Day of the Juice and sampled some amazing beers, many making their first appearance in Georgia.  We took advantage of having some new breweries in town and are making this the first show where we interview brewers outside of Georgia and Alabama as we sat down with New York’s Finback Brewery and Florida’s Idyll Hounds.

Next week we’re excited to have Stan Hieronymus on the show where we’ll be talking all things hops, historic lagers, and brewing like a Monk.  Hieronymus is well-known for his excellent beer writing with books such as For the Love of Hops, Brew Like a Monk, and Brewing Local.

WHAT WE’RE DRINKING

Nolan the Wanderer
Reformation’s Nolan the Wanderer IPA Adventure #001 releases this week, the first in a series.  It’s got a “soft West Coast DIPA” thing going on.  Nice hops and some bitterness, but very soft and smooth with a bit of malt backing things up.
