Coming Up from Beer Guys Radio

This week we’re at the Terrapin ATL Brew Lab at SuntTrust Park.  Baseball, beer, and BBQ.  Many people don’t know the variety of styles coming out of the Brew Lab.  Doppelbock, Helles Lager, English Mild, plus they’ve got the classic Terrapin hoppy brews on tap as well.  We talk with the crew about brewing at an MLB stadium, what’s coming up next, and get their thoughts on working for Big Beer.  (Disclaimer:  Terrapin is majority owned by Tenth & Blake, the craft beer division of MillerCoors.  We’ll share their story and leave it up to you on whether or not you want to purchase their beer.  We’re not the boss of you.)

Next week we’ll be talking with Stowe, Vermont’s von Trapp Brewery.  High up on a mountain von Trapp is brewing up a variety of European lagers inspired by founder Johannes von Trapp’s travels of the countryside near his ancestral Austrian home.  We’ll talk about founding their brewery, loving lagers before it was cool, and being part of the booming NE beer scene.
