Five Minutes with Burnt Hickory’s Scott Hedeen
Burnt Hickory Brewery’s Fall 2016 Update
Five minutes. Scott Hedeen. If you know Scott then you know that once you get him talking it’s highly unlikely the conversation will be over in five minutes. Scott’s a talker and a storyteller, and it’s always a good time catching “five minutes” with him. I’ve known Scott since way back when the brewery first opened, when they only had monthly open houses and they may have 20 people there. A lot’s changed since then, and continues to change, Scott is nice enough to share frequent updates with us about what he’s got going on.
If you follow us along on Facebook you may have caught the live stream of this video, which was a bit over 20 minutes. Even after some editing and tweaking and taking out the SUPER NSFW parts (FYI, there are still some NSFW parts) I still ended up with over 16 minutes of video. Scott talks about the latest run of Didjits in cans, and the tweaks they made to it; the reason for less BHB beer on the shelves at your local bottle shop, a partnership with Ambush Board Co., his new / old punk band, and what’s coming up for their Fall and Winter releases.
We also introduce Butterknutting to this video, which sounds really creepy, because it is. How many can you spot?
