Adam Carolla gave us a call. No, seriously. We can prove it:

Carolla, is a comedian, author, TV host (Man Show, anyone?), radio host and now the owner/founder of Carolla Digital. They produce an amazing amount of shows, including one of the most popular podcasts of all time, the eponymous Adam Carolla show. (note: I have always wanted to use eponymous in a sentence. Thanks for the indulgence).

He’s also a craft beer fan.

Endless Rant IPA

In fact, he’s such a fan, Carolla just released his own IPA. Endless Rant IPA, a collaboration between Carolla and California’s King Harbor Brewing Company.

Endless Rant IPA, according to Carolla, came when the guys from King Harbor tracked him down after a show and asked him to collaborate. After some back and forth, Carolla says they hit their mark with almost an east coast-west coast IPA style. It combines the citrus and pine character of classic west coast IPAs with the juiciness/tropical fruit profiles of newer “east coast” IPAs.

King Harbor, founded in 2012, is a relatively new brewery in Escondido (edit: Redondo) Beach. Under brewmaster Phil McDaniel (a Siebel Institute grad with Stone and the Breuery on his resume), they have gained some acclaim over the past few years.

King Harbor only distributes in California, so let us know if you are headed there, and we’ll ask for some of their stuff!
