Getting spooky with RockSolid Brewing | Ep. 295
Getting Spooky with RockSolid Brewing
This week we have RockSolid Brewing head brewer Bryan Crass joining us in the studio!
Bryan shares some info about his time brewing in California and making his way to Georgia, collaborations with other breweries and even one with a haunted house. We make some recipe plans to go full circle with his blueberry cheesecake beer, and sample his BBA Barleywine as he tells us about their 1st anniversary plans.
Pairing beer with America’s most hated Halloween candy
Plenty of places are offering up their beer pairing suggestions with your favorite Halloween candy. We’re jumping in as well but, since you already have plenty of suggestions for Skittles and Snickers, we’re here to share what we’d pair with the Top 5 most hated Halloween candies. A cuvee of lists from Candystore.com, Thrillist, and USA Today.
Grab your kids’ candy bag and get that trash they left over. Necco Wafers, Circus Peanuts, Good ‘N Plenty, Peanut Butter Kisses, and the dreaded Candy Corn. We got you.

More to listen to
We’ve got like 294 other episodes talking to really cool people. Dip into some of our past episodes and see what we’ve been up to.
As we approach 300 episodes I’ve been reminiscing on some of the shows we’ve done. We’d had a blast over the last five years and we’ve talked to some amazing people. Take a trip with us and check out our show with the legendary Alan Sprints of Portland’s Hair of the Dog, or Daniel Carey from New Glarus Brewing. One of my personal favorites was our chat with Beer Archeologist Travis Rupp, what’s not to love about mixing beer and history?
Take a look through our show list and we may have talked to your favorite brewery. If not, let us know and we’ll try to have them on.
