Getting Down with Dead Low Brewing | Ep. 291
Getting Down with Dead Low Brewing
Dead low is the lowest navigable depth of a river. Dead Low Brewing is a stone’s throw from the Ohio River plus a sports complex and amphitheater – which is a theater that can operate on land or in water.
Investor and board member Yvan Demosthenes is at least as proud of the food at Dead Low as he is the beer. Our discussion on a recently disappointing experience with some A-5 Kobe has him bragging on his chef and opens an invitation to have some Kobe done right, or some of their famous wings. Maybe both. We also chat with co-founder Kyle Havens about Country Lagers and sourcing local ingredients. Then we move on to Dark Lagers, the offerings available, and the misconceptions a lot of people have about lagers in general.
We keep talking about road trips. There are a lot of places we need to visit. We’re just going to have to load up the Family Truckster one day and head on out to the Holiday Road. Watch out, Dead Low, we’re coming for you.
