Best of Georgia Beer 2019 – Nominations
Nominate your favorite beers and breweries for the Best of Georgia Beer 2019
2019 has been a great year for Georgia beer. We now have over 100 breweries and brewpubs across the state with several more in the works. Our brewers offer up everything from crispy Pilsners to big barrel-aged stouts and fantastic sours. There’s no shortage of great beer in Georgia.
Style Selection
Styles were selected for the categories to represent the most popular craft beer styles. There are a lot of great beers that don’t fall into these categories, we have an additional category for those. We feel this method highlights the best of the most popular beers, and keeps the survey at a manageable size.
Changes for 2019
Brewery vs. Brewpub | With the passage of SB85 in 2017 the difference between a brewery and a brewpub isn’t always clear. Now that production breweries can also serve food, there are locations that look like brewpubs but are licensed as breweries. We’ve always had some confusion in this category and with the changes we’ve combined the Best Brewery and Best Brewpub categories into one.
BREWERS! We encourage you to offer up your own nominations and share this with your fans and followers. .
