Nappy Roots continues their Great American Beer Run Tour as they grow Atlantucky Brewing

FishScales and Skinny DeVille stopped by our studio recently to share some beers and catch up.  We haven’t seen the guys in a few months as they’ve been touring the country on Nappy Roots the Great American Beer Run Tour and we’ve been busy with events, including a trip to Tallahassee and SGI Brewfest.  As we sat in the studio chatting and sipping some Line Creek Brewing Chinchillin’ Skinny said, “We should record this,” so we did.

We find out what the guys have been drinking lately as they’ve traveled the US, what breweries have impressed them, and the collaboration brews they’re working on.  We also discuss the trend in rap/beer collaborations and how Nappy Roots sets themselves apart from other artists.  On the not-beer front, we talk about meatloaf, moonshine, cigars, and what Scales has in his pocket.
