The Results are in!
Here are this year’s winners for the best in Georgia and Alabama craft beer. Nearly 3,000 people voted, almost triple the number from last year. And here’s what you said:
How this all went down:
- Results are 100% based on reader/listener voting.
- Nomination round allowed write-in for all categories.
- Final voting was Top 10 (give or take) for each category in the nomination round.

There were a lot of beers that didn’t fit into one of the above categories but were still awesome so we made this category as a catch-all for those beers. We almost added a Best Lager category but there weren’t quite enough lager releases for that. Maybe next year we’ll need to add it.

Cherry Street’s coconut porter is amazing, but haven’t had their imperial porter. Definitely have to add that one to the list
Congratulations Trim Tab Brewing!! Winner in so many categories and unfortunately missed the date on several of the releases or would have won those as well! My favorite by a long shot!
Is there a tally of how many votes each nominee had (specifically for Best Bottle Shop)?
We do have that information but we’re not releasing a list, just the Top 3 winners in each category.
