Happy 20th Anniversary, Brick Store Pub! – Episode 79
It’s not an exaggeration to say if it weren’t for the Brick Store Pub, Georgia’s craft beer scene would not be what it is today.
This week, we took our show on the road to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Decatur craft beer bar. We talked to owners Mike Gallagher and Dave Blanchard about the start of the bar….and its impact on beer and the city of Decatur itself.
We also were joined by some current and former employees and some VIPs – all talking about the Brick Store.
Truck and Tap‘s Beers of the Week
You couldn’t go wrong with the 20 collaboration beers that the Brick Store Pub put together. Locals like SweetWater, Second Self, Wild Heaven, Terrapin and Scofflaw pitched in with their own beers. But also national and international breweries of note, including Allagash, Left Hand, Sierra Nevada, Burial, St. Bernardus…it truly was a celebration to remember!
