Margarita Gose Your Pie
A busy time in the studio – CRL Contracting brought Second Self’s Margarita in Gose (MIG), Your Pie Perimeter brought pizza, and Good Word Brewing brought….some good words!

We were definitely busy for our 75th episode!

Good Word Brewing, a brand new brewpub set to open this fall (hopefully!) in downtown Duluth, joined us in studio to talk about building out a business and the challenges behind that. Ryan Skinner and Todd DiMatteo are soon-to-be former employees of Brickstore, striking out on this new venture. Working with them are CRL Contracting (one of our sponsors). After working with Orpheus, Second Self and Scofflaw, CRL has earned their slogan “We Build Breweries.” We talk about how they got into the business, and they’ve got a (long) list of breweries and brewpubs that are in planning.

Plus, there’s always pie! Your Pie Perimeter, that is. Lisa and Morgan (also one of our sponsors) brought by with some of their pizzas. Check out their new prosciutto and peach pizza with a honey balsamic glaze. Seriously.

Truck and Tap Beers of the Week:

Good Word promised their beers will be ready soon, so in the meantime, we tried some local favorites:

Headlines (Sponsored by Your Pie Perimeter):

Coming up next week, Huntsville staple Yellowhammer Brewing joins us on the show. Have a great weekend, and don’t forget to DRINK LOCAL. Cheers!
