Reformation’s Wilder returns for Mother’s Day
(press release)
Reformation Brewery Offers Bouquet of Black Currant this Mother’s Day
Reformation Brewery is on the path of Adventure with their new release, a Black Currant Strong Ale named Wilder. With an assertive tartness, bright saturated berry hue, and dry finish, this limited draft-only offering is available starting this May, just in time for Mother’s Day.
“It’s like a bouquet in a glass,” says Marketing Manager Jessica Miller. “Our brewers explored adjustments to the PH and added acidulated malts to get that tart, dry flavor profile. It pairs perfectly with the wild direction our local weather takes this time of year.”
CEO Spencer Nix adds, “Exploring new paths on life’s adventure teaches us about ourselves. We discover strength, character, and often humor on those paths. Our series of Adventure Release beers are designed for that moment. To celebrate the tangled, wild freedom of stepping out of the everyday in search of a revived spirit.”
Following demand for a previously launched blackberry variant, Reformation Brewery piloted several “Pioneer” draft experiments in their tasting room before settling on black currant. A Belgian-Style Strong Ale by style, these beers are described as having a moderate yet distinctive floral hop character often with fruity complex aromas and a light malt character.
