Reformation Brewery’s blue cans will have a new name…and a new size.

The Woodstock, Georgia brewery will now call its Belgian-style witbier “Haddy.” Previously named Union, the recipe will remain unchanged.

Reformation CEO Spencer Nix said, “We can always use more moments that bring us together. Haddy is made for that moment. Easy drinking, light-bodied, and low ABV (alcohol by volume) means you can hold onto the experience a little longer.”

In addition to the rebrand, Haddy will be available in 16-ounce tallboy cans.

The original 12-ounce version will also be out later this year, and available in an upcoming Reformation mix 12-pack.

Woodstock, GA (May 3, 2017) — Reformation Brewery in Woodstock, Georgia welcomes Haddy to their year round portfolio. This sessionable beer offering is initially available at venues such as Variety Playhouse and Rome Braves Stadium, and the brewery’s Keeping Room in a 16 oz. canned format this May.

Commemorating the launch, a mural commissioned from Atlanta creative R. Land, was painted outside Variety Playhouse. “When a particular bohemian community is part of your life story you put a mural on it,” CEO, Spencer Nix explains. “My wife and I had some of our best high school dates in Little 5. You might even say, love blossomed at every point. Lots of nostalgic memories in this part of Atlanta for us.”

Nix adds, “We can always use more moments that bring us together. Haddy is made for that moment. Easy drinking, light-bodied, and low ABV means you can hold onto the experience a little longer.” Unchanged from their existing recipe, a 12 oz. canned format of Haddy (formerly Union) will be added later this year. The rebrand will culminate culminate with Haddy joining Cadence and Jude in a Reformation Box Set (12 packs) this summer.

In a statement released by the brewery earlier this year, Reformation explains the change gives them an opportunity to “explore the power of parable” and “present narratives that sustain and create continuity between the chapters behind us, and the stories yet to come.” Nix explains, “Well made beer goes beyond the glass to moments of friendship, authenticity, and shared values. Haddy is part of a family of beers reintroduced with a new naming convention, whose stories dig deep into our values, and illustrate the why behind what we do.”

A witbier by style, this classic, refreshing take on the Belgian style is ideal for warmer months ahead. Look for Haddy in 16oz cans starting May, 2017. Learn more at reformationbrewery.com/haddy.
