First Look: Yard House at the Battery
Fans of the Atlanta Braves will have more craft beer options
With the home opener of the new SunTrust Park just days away, construction crews are scrambling to make deadline. Meanwhile, at the adjacent retail area, dubbed The Battery, shops and restaurants are getting ready as well.
We told you about Terrapin’s new brewhouse at the Battery. And come April 10, the Yard House will open for business.
Today, they were busy delivering kegs, prepping the kitchen and bar areas and training wait staff.
The Beer Guys got an exclusive sneak peek of the venue. The spacious area is pretty much anything you’d want in a sports bar/restaurant, with several televisions. As far as the beer goes, we were shown two of their keg storage areas, which house their 250 tap lines. The lines are pumped above ground, over the space, and into the bar. According to Yard House, nearly 5 miles of lines are in the building, which would make cleaning day a daunting challenge.
