This Week in Georgia Beer | Nov. 18-24, 2016
This Week on Beer Guys Radio
We’re back to beer this week and talking with Gate City Brewing! Brian Borngesser and Pat Rains from Roswell, GA’s Gate City Brewing join us in the studio this week. We chat about what started them on their craft beer adventure, gypsy brewing and moving to their own location, the challenges of changing brewhouses, and the up-and-coming craft beer scene in Roswell. We also got to sample their OTP IPA* and Terminus Porter and got a sneak peek at their Double Tropical Stout which they’ll be pouring at Wrecking Bar’s Strong Beer Fest.
*For those not in the Atlanta metro, OTP is Outside the Perimeter(I-285), as opposed to ITP. It’s a hot topic in Atlanta for those in their respective locations. But no matter what they tell you everyone knows OTP rules.
Next week we’ll play a highlights show as we take the week off to give thanks. From everyone on the Beer Guys team we want to wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We’ll be spending time with our friends and family and we hope you get to do the same. We’re thankful for many things this year and we’re very thankful for all of you for subscribing to our newsletter, listening to our shows, and spreading the good word of Beer Guys Radio. Thanks!
