Good People Brewing – Episode 40
We’ve made it to 40 episodes!
This week, we’re talking to Alabama’s oldest craft brewery, Good People.
Jason Malone takes a break from watching his kid’s soccer practice to join us. We talk about how he got started in the brewing business, and all the changes he’s seen in Alabama brewing since they sold their first keg in 2008.
Slowly growing, they’ve recently completed expansion into Tennessee; developed their first sour/funk beer program as well as barrel aging.
We also talk about Good People’s Birmingham Airport location, and the importance of educating the area about craft beer.
(also, a sneak peek into Good People’s plans on expanding into Georgia!)
Truck and Tap‘s Beers of the Week:
- Terrapin Beer’s Krunkles Luau IPA
- Terrapin’s 2016 So Fresh and So Green, Green
- Weyerbacher Sunday Mole Stout
