This Week in Georgia Beer | July 8-14, 2016
This Week on Beer Guys Radio
We talk about getting started with homebrewing. In this episode we cover what you’ll need to get started in homebrewing. We’re joined in the studio this week by experienced homebrewers Jim Walker and Nate Watkins (Nate is also a BJCP Certified beer judge) who share their advice on taking up the hobby. We chat about why someone would want to homebrew when there are already so many amazing beers available, what you’ll need to get going, the basic process you’ll follow, and share some tips and tricks for making that first batch. We couldn’t cover all we wanted to in 1 hour so if you listen to the show on your local radio station check out the podcast for an extended version with more info.
We also talk with Phil Petracca, CEO of Fizzics Group, about their Fizzics Draft Beer System. Phil shares why they invented the Fizzics system, what exactly it does, and what’s coming up from the company. The Beer Guys put one of their systems to the test, listen in to see what we thought.
