Three Taverns to add canning line this Summer
Three Taverns cans coming this Summer
Cunningham’s Law. Heard of it? It states, “the best way to get the right answer on the Internet is not to ask a question, it’s to post the wrong answer.” And that’s what happened to us today. I found some information on a planned can release from Three Taverns and shared that here. Not long after I posted, Three Taverns sent an email to me to let me know the info I’d found was inaccurate and the attached image was incorrect. We always try to break the latest beer news, but we do want to make sure what we share is correct. Fortunately, Brian Purcell reached out to give me a little more info on what’s actually happening at Three Taverns, here’s what he had to say:
“A frequent request from our customers over the past couple of years has left us asking the question, “can we do it?” We finally settled on and are ready to announce our answer, “Yes, we CAN!” That’s right, this summer Three Taverns will take delivery of a new canning line and start bringing some of our beers to market in cans. We are still early in the planning stages and finalizing decisions on what we can first. There are several candidates, including one of our sour asylum beers. We’ll continue to update as decisions are made over the coming months. Cheers!”
If you can’t wait until Summer for something new and exciting they’re releasing a special, and very limited, session IPA. Here’s some info on that release.
3Day IPA, the official and specially brewed beer of the Decatur Arts Festival, makes it’s debut in the Parlour at Three Taverns tonight (Friday 05/13) and throughout the local Decatur market next week. Don’t miss this uber drinkable 4.6% session IPA massively hopped with Amarillo and Mosaic.
You can read a bit more about 3Day IPA on the Three Taverns website.
