Reformation Brewery introduces Quest as first offering in their Adventure Series
Reformation Quest debuts as first offering in their Adventure Series
Woodstock, GA’s Reformation Brewery was founded on a shared passion for European beers. Nick Downs, one of Reformation’s founders, is a pilot and years ago during his trips to Europe he would find and bring back beer to share with his friends. When Nick’s flight route changed he was disappointed that he wasn’t able to get these beers anymore, and so were his friends, so they decided to start brewing them. What started as a small group of friends brewing and enjoying European-style beers grew into a larger group, and eventually became Reformation Brewery.
Quest, the latest offering from Reformation and the first beer in their Adventure Series, debuts at the tasting room this week and continues the tradition of European-inspired beers. An Apricot Rye Belgian-style Saison, Quest has an apricot aroma and a peppery rye finish.
Co-Founder/CEO Spencer Nix says, “These Georgia rivers, fields, and woods call us to carve new paths. There is freedom in open spaces which breeds a new quest in all of us. You live life long enough in this beautiful place and it becomes a part of you. We all bring our own stories to bear on the present, and Quest embodies the story of our rustic brewing heritage and our search for something new – making something unique to this time and place.” Several other beers are scheduled to join Quest in the market in 2016, though no details on style or launch date have yet been released. “We want to celebrate adventure when the moment strikes,” Nix says. “Some adventures aren’t meant to last. But we appreciate them for the moment and what they teach us. We hope this series highlights giving thanks for the gift of the now, and inspires people to explore new perspectives.”
