South Carolina Beer Laws Bring 140 Jobs and $14 Million to the State
According to a report from CBS 7 WSPA in Spartanburg, SC the passage of “The Pint Law” and “The Stone Law” has created an additional 140 jobs as well as bringing an additional $14 Million in revenue to South Carolina. The report goes on to say it’s expected that over the next 5 years breweries will have an additional economic impact of almost $71 Million and create 641 jobs.
Quite simply, better beer laws create jobs and generate revenue. Perhaps one day Georgia lawmakers will see the benefits our state could enjoy by passing some common-sense changes to our Prohibition-era policies.
