Deactur’s Three Taverns Brewery is making a change to its Night on Ponce IPA:

Moving forward, Ponce (RateBeer: 90) will no longer be filtered in order to enhance the hop character and mouthfeel of the beer. The beer may be a little hazy in the glass now, but the flavors are juicier across the tongue and more aromatic in the nose. Feedback overwhelmingly agrees with our decision as shown most recently when unfiltered Ponce was poured at the Brick Store during the blind flights and voted #1. Unfiltered kegs just started shipping and bottles will ship by end of week, so it may take a little bit for complete market penetration. We’re certain you are going to enjoy the change. It is everything that was good about Ponce before, only more and better.

Since we were so pleased with unfiltered Ponce we have also decided to leave A Night in Brussels (RateBeer: 89) unfiltered as well. It has a bigger mouthfeel and more Belgian character than ever before. Look for it to ship by the end of the month.
