Meet the Beer Guys Team
TIM DENNIS (Co-Host / Creative Producer) was first introduced to craft beer by co-workers from the UK who were happy to find Samuel Adams among the relative craft beer desert of Mississippi in the early 1990s. After relocating to Atlanta in 2000 he enjoyed the variety of beers available from local brewers (a measly 6 at that time) as well as the options available from other breweries across the country.
As a moderator of a popular Georgia beer forum, Reddit ATLbeer, Tim has worked to foster the camaraderie of the craft beer community by helping to create a friendly environment for craft beer fans, brewers, and other industry personnel to share and discuss goings-on in the local beer scene. He is a passionate advocate for better beer laws in Georgia and worked with the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild and local lawmakers to help keep the public engaged and active for the passage of SB63 in 2015. Tim is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and is currently pursuing his Certified Cicerone certification.
On many weekends Tim can be found at his home in Woodstock spending time with friends homebrewing and sharing great beers, or at a local brewery or beer festival.
AARON WILLIAMS (Co-Host / Executive Producer) took his first sip of craft beer while working as a barback for the ChapterHouse in Ithaca, New York.
“As a college student, it was a revelation to taste something other than the macro lagers that I was used to. The ChapterHouse was the first place I ever saw that actually brewed beer on its own premises. I was hooked after that.”
A career in television and radio took him around the country before settling in Georgia in 2000. He currently works as program director and chief meteorologist for Salem Media Group in Atlanta.
“I admit that I have a lot to learn, but I’m excited to learn….and sample…all the amazing beers that are being made in this area! The brewers and experts in the Atlanta area are amazing and creative, and I can’t wait to talk to them.”
Aaron lives in Gwinnett County with his wife Eve and 3 kids. He’s a graduate of Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications, and has worked for The Weather Channel and WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. and KSLA-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana.
BECKY KLEIN (Production Assistant) was introduced to craft beer via the Brewniversity program at Taco Mac and was happy to find there is life outside of PBR. She discovered her love for stouts with New Holland’s Dragon’s Milk and the rest is history.
Through her travels as a Field Molecular Applications Scientist, Becky has been able to sample craft beer all over the country and often brings it back for fellow craft beer lovers. She is also a homebrewer and an active member of A Tribe Called Grist homebrewing club. Becky is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and is pursuing her Certified Cicerone Level 2 certification.
In her spare time Becky can be found volunteering at local beer festivals, catching live shows, or sharing beers with friends and family.
Becky keeps our schedule in line. If you’d like to be a guest on one of our shows or have your product featured, drop her an email.
