This Week in Georgia Beer

This Week on Beer Guys Radio

This Week… Common Homebrewing Off-Flavors.  Butter, cardboard, cabbage… flavors no brewer wants in their beer.  We’re joined this week by Twain’s Head Brewer and BJCP Grand Master Beer Judge Mike Castagno and BJCP Certified Beer Judge Nate Watkins to talk about the causes of these off-flavors and ways to prevent or correct them. (Due to a scheduling conflict we will have Steady Hand on at a later date.)

Next Week… Red Brick Brewing Co.  As is tradition in Atlanta, Red Brick has seen quite a resurgence in popularity recently.  From their popular Hype Whale stout variants to unique IPAs, Red Brick is showing us what they can do.  We’ll sit down with Director of Brewing Operations Gavin McKenna to talk about the new Red Brick Brewing.

GEORGIA CRAFT BEER EVENTS

A bit of a change to our events list. When we started This Week in Georgia Beer there were a dozen or so events every week.  This week, there are 99 events on the calendar.  Going forward we’ll list a handful of featured events throughout the week, with an effort to show a diverse mix of events across the state.  We think a list of 100 events would be overkill.  If you disagree, let us know.  You can still find a full list of events on our website: FULL CALENDAR OF EVENTS
