This Week on Beer Guys Radio

Georgia Beer

We’re talking Beer and Food Pairing!  Tom Moran from Roswell’s The Peach and the Porkchop joins us in the studio this week to share some tips on properly pairing your beer with food.  We’ll share some general pairing guidelines as well as sample some dishes and brews that Tom has paired for us and discuss our thoughts as well as why these pairing work.

Next week we’re talking with Avondale Brewing!  Head Brewer and Distiller Nate Darnell will join us in the studio to chat about their production process, sour beers, making the hard stuff, and “anything y’all want”.  We’ll have to come up with some good stuff for that last part.

Listen to Beer Guys Radio every Saturday in Atlanta at 1:00 PM Eastern on AM 920 or Sunday at 6:00 AM on Biz 1190.  If you’re in Alabama you can catch the show live at 1:00 PM Central on 92.9 FM / 1450 AM in Huntsville or 94.7 FM / 1490 AM in Decatur  We’re also streaming live on our website, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn.  Can’t catch the live show?  That’s cool, we’ve got you covered.  All past shows are available on-demand on our site or your favorite podcasting app.

We sampled some awesome treats from Roswell’s The Peach and the Porkchop this week, including the Pittsburgh Plate sausage sampler.  Most ingredients at the restaurant are locally sourced but the owners have the sausage brought in special from Pittsburgh.
