Left Nut Brewing
Jason Ford and Rick Foote from Left Nut Brewing joined us in studio this week.

In the past year and a half, Gainesville’s Left Nut Brewing Company have opened up the world of craft beer to Hall County.

As the first brewery ever in Hall County, the crew have developed approachable styles that are clean and drinkable. If you’ve been to beer fests over the past several months, you might have come across some of them. Starting with their blonde ale and double India Pale Ale, they have expended their portfolio to include an imperial red ale, a classic west coast IPA, a local honey rye ale and more.

They’ve become popular with the outdoors crowd, becoming a spot where mountain bikers, fishers, hikers and hunters stop by before heading to the mountains. Because of that, they are excited about the passage of SB 85, which will allow direct sales from breweries starting Sept. 1.

Brewmaster Jason Ford and R&D director Rick Foote joined us in studio this week, where we talked beer…and of course cracked some open too!

Truck and Tap‘s Beers of the Week:

  • Left Nut Brewing brought a couple, including:
    • Höllen Glöcken Helles Lager
    • Bridge to Nowhere IPA
  • We also sampled Creature Comforts Tritonia with cucumber and lime.

Headlines (Sponsored by Your Pie Perimeter)

Coming up next week? We’re talking to the guys behind Duluth’s Good Word Brewing, as well as the gents who are building their facility, CRL Contracting.

We hope you have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend, and we want to take time out to thank all of our veterans, and remember those that didn’t make it home.
