Printer's Ale Manufacturing
The crew from Carrollton’s first production brewery joined us this week. From left: Printer’s Ale Manufacturing Company Managing Partner Eliott Hall, Owner Greg Smith and Head Brewer Brian Quinn

Printer’s Ale Manufacturing Company is the first production brewery in Carrollton.

Owner Greg Smith owned a large building in Carrollton and wasn’t sure what to do with it. Once he realized that it was a great setup for a brewery, the avid homebrewer had an idea. Quickly setting into motion the development of Printer’s Ale Manufacturing Company. They’ve had some limited distribution in the metro Atlanta area, and their taproom just opened in Carrollton. Smith, who has a printing background (hence the name), brought in Eliot Hall to run the business and Brian Quinn to brew the beer. Right now, they have nine beers on tap, and plan on developing more, including barrel aging some beers.

Truck and Tap‘s Beers of the Week:

  • Printer’s Ale Everyday Magenta Amber
  • Everyday Cyan IPA (note: it’s not hazy…in fact, it’s probably the clearest IPA we’ve seen in a while!)
  • Gutenberg’s Gose

Coming up next week? It’s a Gainesville brewery with a funny name and serious beers. Left Nut Brewing joins us in the studio. In the meantime, hit us up on the socials, tell a friend about us, and DRINK LOCAL. Cheers!
