This Week on Beer Guys Radio

Georgia Beer

We’re talking with the Big Beach Brewing! Gulf Shores based Big Beach Brewing is one of the newer breweries on the Alabama beer scene.   They had a strong showing in our 2016 Best of Alabama Beer awards, winning Best New Brewery and Best New IPA as well as taking 2nd place for Best New Stout.  Co-owner Jim Schamburger and Head Brewer Rod Murray joined us to talk about their beer and brewery.  Most of their offerings are “beachable” and geared towards relaxing in the sun with your toes in the sand.  We sip their Rod’s Reel Cream Ale and For the Love of Mosaic APA while we chat and dream about Summer.

Next week we’re talking with Hopstix Brewpub.  Owner Andy Tan and Head Brewer Chris Collier will join us in the studio to talk brewpub offering Asian Fusion cuisine and house-brewed beers.  They’re grand opening is on the 4th so we’re catching them right as the open to the public.

Listen to Beer Guys Radio every Saturday in Atlanta at 1:00 PM Eastern on AM 920 or Sunday at 6:00 AM on Biz 1190.  If you’re in Alabama you can catch the show live at 1:00 PM Central on 92.9 FM / 1450 AM in Huntsville or 94.7 FM / 1490 AM in Decatur  We’re also streaming live on our website, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn.  Can’t catch the live show?  That’s cool, we’ve got you covered.  All past shows are available on-demand on our site or your favorite podcasting app.
