This Week on Beer Guys Radio

Georgia Beer

We’re chatting with Burnt Hickory Brewery!  President and Brewmaster Scott Hedeen joins us in the studio this week to talk about his Kennesaw brewery.  We chat about the challenges of being a small, self-funded brewery and what needs to change about Georgia’s beer laws to help out the little guys.  Scott tells us what vibe to expect at their very unique tasting room and we chat a bit about one of his other loves, music.  We’re also joined my Morgan and Lisa  Maclellan, owners of Your Pie Perimeter, who share their craft beer journey and how they ended up opening a pizzeria and craft beer bar.

Next week we’ll tell you about the Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting and some new breweries coming to Georgia.  We’ll be taping next week’s show live at ACAT this Saturday chatting with some of Georgia’s soon-to-be brewery owners.  We’ll get the scoop on Good Word Brewing coming to Duluth, Variant Brewing from Roswell, and we’ll chat with Mitch Steele and his partners about their brewpub coming to Atlanta’s Beltline.

Listen to Beer Guys Radio every Saturday in Atlanta at 1:00 PM Eastern on AM 920 or Sunday at 6:00 AM on Biz 1190.  If you’re in Alabama you can catch the show live at 1:00 PM Central on 92.9 FM / 1450 AM in Huntsville or 94.7 FM / 1490 AM in Decatur  We’re also streaming live on our website, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn.  Can’t catch the live show?  That’s cool, we’ve got you covered.  All past shows are available on-demand on our site or your favorite podcasting app.
