This Week on Beer Guys Radio

Georgia BeerWe chat with Eventide Brewing! Co-Founder and Brand Manager joins us in the studio to talk about her brewery in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood.  We discuss the importance of being part of your community, the value of sweat equity, the fun of learning new skills, being a woman in the craft beer world, and some groups that helped her become part of the community.  Of course we talked about their beer as well and Haley let us know some of the beers coming soon from Eventide and other offerings they’re going to can in the future.  We cracked open one of their Kolsch-style ales as well as their Pale Ale and even got to sample this year’s Highlander Scotch Ale.

Next week we’re hitting the hard stuff and talking whiskey and rum.  The folks from Independent Distilling and Richland Rum will join us in the studio to talk about their craft.  Both distillers have worked with craft brewers for barrel-aged beers and we’ll take about the appeal of barrel aging in today’s craft beer world.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BEER GUYS!

Project BGR - Craft Beer PodcastIntroducing our newest show, Project BGR!  A bi-weekly podcast from the Beer Guys Radio Network.  One thing we hear from our listeners is that they love the local info we provide on Beer Guys Radio, and we do, too.  But we’ve also heard from listeners that would like to hear from brewers across the US and around the world, that’s where Project BGR comes in.  With our new show we’ll talk with the most influential people in craft beer.  Each show will run less than 30 minutes to make it easy to catch up with just a bit of spare time.  We’ve launched with 11 episodes from a ton of amazing breweries.  You can check out more details and listen in here.
