Georgia BeerWe’re talking Oktoberfest!  John Roberts from Max Lagers and Owen Ogletree from Brewtopia Events join us to talk about Oktoberfest in Georgia, Alabama, and Munich!  We discuss the tradition of the celebration, the beers to be had here as well as in Germany, and some of the food items to enjoy with you bier.  Oktoberfest in Munich is officially over but here in the states there’s still fun, and beer, to be had.

Next week we’re talking with Terrapin Beer Co.!  Co-founder “Spike” Buckowski joins us on the show to talk about his Athens-brewery and being one of the founders of the craft beer movement in Georgia.

The Beer Guys are on vacation…

The whole Beer Guys team is in Denver this week for the Great American Beer Festival.  With preparations and travel we had to take this week off on providing you with a full list of awesome events and beer releases.  Please check our check out our Beer Events Calendar for a full list of what’s happening across Georgia and Alabama.

If it’s any consolation, we promise we are drinking lots o beer and totally misbehaving out here, and we promise we’ll be back next week with all the details on Georgia beer.  Cheers!
