Beer guys at Truck and Tap
(from left) Spencer Nix, CEO of Reformation Brewery, Owen Ogletree from Brewtopia and founder of the Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting, Aaron and Tim all met up at Woodstock’s Truck and Tap.

We took the Beer Guys Radio show on the road this week, visiting our newest sponsor.

The Beer Guys broadcast from the bar at Truck and Tap in downtown Woodstock. While there, we visited with several friends.

Tim and Aaron kicked off the show with the aforementioned Truck and Tap beers of the week. Thanks to Lake Country Brewing, a new brewery set to open this summer near Lake Oconee, we sampled three of their styles – a traditional Czech Pilsner, a Marzen and a Dunkelweizen. Certainly a departure from the ale-centric offerings around most of the state, but a definite refreshing change.

We also discussed the 2016 Georgia Beer Bill. Details have been leaked over the past few days, and it appears set to be introduced in the upcoming days. Read more about the bill here, and keep checking back on our social media sites and beerguysradio.com for breaking news about this important piece of legislation.

In our third segment, we sat down with Zach Yurchuk, one of the owners of Truck and Tap. And we also grabbed Reformation Brewery‘s Spencer Nix, who just happened to be at the joint for lunch.

Beer Nuit BelgeFinally, we wrapped up by giving away our final pair of tickets to Nuit Belge, and discussed what’s happening in Georgia beer.
