We were able to head into the studios of AM 920 The Answer last night and crank out a pre-season episode of the Beer Guys. With the exception of me (Aaron) talking too much, it wasn’t too bad.

We started the show by talking about the news of the week, including Georgia Speaker of the House David Ralston calling out the Department of Revenue, and the various and sundry shenanigans that AB-Inbev is up to.

In the second segment, we discussed what we drank this week, as well as what events we attended, including Wrecking Bar Brewpub’s Strong Beer Fest, Orpheus Brewing’s Ferryman release, information about the 2016 Peach State Brew Off and much more. Plus, we cracked open Three Taverns Brewery Feest Noel.

The second half of the show kicked off with Sean Geary of Clown Shoes Beer. Normally, we’ll interview Georgia-based brewers on the show, but we couldn’t resist. Clown Shoes is doing great things up north, and we were fortunate enough to get one of the first bottles of their Georgia-only release of Aurora Orangealis IPA.

We wrapped up the show by talking about some upcoming events.

Thanks to Reformation Brewery for the free tour passes – we’ll be giving more away in future shows!

The official show kicks off on Atlanta’s AM 920 The Answer Saturday, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m., but in the meantime, we’d love your feedback — what do you want us to talk about? What did you like, what didn’t you like?

Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and Twitter, and subscribe to the show via iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn, or wherever you get your podcasts. Thanks for the support, and happy listening!
