Monday Night recently received label approval on a couple of new beers set for future releases.  I was able to get a bit more info in an email exchange with Monday Night’s Marketing Guy and Master of Mind Control, Jonathan Baker.

Slap Fight IPA will be a can-only release and the recipe is still being tuned in.  Per the label (although Jonathan noted this could change) the beer will have Munich and Pilsner malts along with Simcoe and Cascade hops, so expect this one to have some pine, floral, and citrus character.  Jonathan tells me they are still playing around with the dry hop additions and they won’t set a release date until they get the recipe where they want it. .

There’s also an ESB in the works that will be available on draft in the tasting room and as a special release at Barnsely Gardens resort.  The style doesn’t seem to be en vogue with a lot of beer geeks but a well-made ESB is an excellent beer, I’ll definitely try to catch this one when it hits the tasting room.
